How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S IOS 5.1.1 With Absinthe v2.04 (PC, MAC, Linux)

Choose your Operating System

MAC

1) Create a backup using ITunes. Download Absinthe v2.04 from Greenpois0n.com. Once it is finished downloading double click on the .dmg
2) It will give you a .dmg mount installer and It will show you a command line of all of the possible devices you can jailbreak.
3) Once it is done you will need to go to the folder where you had extracted the file and inside will be another absinthe folder containing another .dmg.
4) Double click on that .dmg and Run as Adminstrator. It will show you the basic GUI where it will ask you to plug in your device and thats it.
5) Plug in your iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and click on the button "Jailbreak". The rest is done straight on the device and you will need to wait a while for the exploit to complete.
6) Once finished it will restart and you will now see Cydia on your Homescreen.

Windows

5) Plug in your iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and click on the button "Jailbreak". The rest is done straight on the device and you will need to wait a while for the exploit to complete.
6) Once finished it will restart and you will now see Cydia on your Homescreen.

Linux

1) In the terminal type: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pmcenery/ppa
2) Accept any warnings that appear. Then click Install.
3) Type: sudo apt-get update
4) Visit the Ubuntu software center. Search for libimobiledevice, and install libimobiledevice-utils. It might then ask you to reboot. Do so! After you reboot, Linux should recognize your device.
Now that you you know how to install libimobiledevice in your Linux.
5) Install the libimobiledevice package on your Linux distribution. This will enable Linux to talk to your IOS Device.
6) Download Absinthe v2.04 and unpack it on your desktop.
7) If you are on a x86 machine, double click absinthe.x86. If you are on a 64-bit machine (likely) double click absinthe.x86_64 to run Absinthe.
8) Ensure that your device is powered on. Absinthe should detect your device. Click on Jailbreak.
9) Let Absinthe finish the entire process. User intervention is not needed until the process is over. Once the loading bar is complete, you will find the Absinthe icon on your iDevice’s Home screen. Launch it to complete the jailbreak.
10) Reboot your device. Now, you should see the Cydia icon on your desktop. The jailbreak procedure is complete.
